Fluidtrols has become part of the Neff Group Family

Neff Engineering Company, Inc. was founded in Fort Wayne, Indiana by Harry A. Neff in 1926. As a manufacturer's representative, Neff's first product line was Hansen Couplings which was signed on in 1938.

The Indianapolis office was opened in 1950. As more industry developed in Indiana, Neff seized the opportunity to open additional offices: South Bend in 1953, Gary in 1967 (moved to Valparaiso in 1977), Evansville in 1987, Kokomo in 1995, and Columbus in 1998. In addition to the Indiana office, Neff moved into the Michigan area. In 1981, Neff opened an office in Grand Rapids, and Lansing in 1990.

As the years went on, Neff Engineering saw the opportunity to expand their product lines. The hydraulic products included hydraulic cylinders, motors, pumps, valves, power units, and various accessory equipment. The pneumatic equipment consisted of valves, cylinders, vacuum pumps, gauges, and air treatment components. Neff also supplied various lubrication components.

Until 1984, Neff had been primarily a fluid power distributor. But, due to rapid changes in technology, industry was moving toward electronic controls. To maintain its position at the forefront of industrial distribution Neff added PLC's, industrial sensors, servo systems, and other electronic control products to its offering.

For years, Neff Engineering has been supplying quality products and services. Some of the Neff Engineering services include repair, troubleshooting/field service, and engineering assistance.

As we move into the 21st century, customers will require more assistance from its suppliers. Neff Engineering is prepared to dedicate its time and resources to meeting the demands of our customers.
