PIAB's Classic
Series Pumps
|
|
PIAB's L Series Vacuum
Pumps are designed with the packaging industry in mind. These pumps provide 30%-70% more
vacuum flow . The L Series will handle high leakage rates in applications such as opening
and handling cartons or cases while still providing enough vacuum pressure to get the job
done.
The Low Pressure M Series vacuum pumps
will provide 27 -inHg of vacuum at only 49 psi inlet pressure. Finally, there is an
air-driven multi-ejector vacuum pump that can handle low or fluctuating compressed air
pressures while still providing a deep vacuum level.
|
|
|
Are you having
trouble finding PIAB's Classic series pumps, the low-pressure M and
the High-Flow L, because all PIAB's pumps look the same?
Well, PIAB has been busy painting the face plates.
Now the Low-Pressure M pumps have a red-colored face plate and the
High-Flow L pumps will sport a blue-colored face plate.

(For more information, see the difference
between a Sealed and
Non-sealed systems)
-
Very good chemical resistance which means increased safety
and reliability.
-
Light weight (has been reduced by 35% compared to MLD).
-
Increased range of types and sizes (X-series).
-
In many cases replaces mechanical displacement pumps of
costly design.
-
Improved vacuum performance (applies to H pumps).
-
The mounting set is made of stainless steel instead of
aluminum to give more resistance to chemicals.
-
Very low sound level. At maximum load, is is a mere 60 dB (A)
-
5-year warranty.
-
Take advantage of our free trial and experience PIAB's advance vacuum technology.
- These pumps are especially suitable for industrial
applications where the environment is harsh. With the
- correct seal material the pumps can
be used in environments containing chlorine solvents, petrol, oil, alcohol, anti freeze
(ethylene glycol), etc.
Some examples of applications are:
-
Evacuation of corrosive or aggressive vapors from container.
-
Fish and dairy industries using salt in their processes.
Normally signify problems of corrosion.
-
Degassing.
-
Recycling of solvents.
-
The low weight of the pump is conducive to mounting on robot
arms and in other applications where weight is a factor.
|
- Choosing the right pump is simple
